Join the V-CES Virtual Online Seminar the 20th of June

Cranfield University invites you in the name of the V-CES consortium to join the forthcoming Virtual Seminar entitled:

Virtual Cost Engineering Service (V-CES): a web-based service for the manufacturing Industry. This FREE virtual seminar will take place on Tuesday June 20th 2006 at 16:00 CET. The Seminar is directed to people involved in cost estimating in manufacturing industries.

The virtual seminar is organized by leaders in their fields such as Cranfield University, Price Systems Ltd, CR FIAT, DAS GmbH and IZET. It is under the framework of the EU 6th FP funded project Virtual Cost Engineering Studio (V-CES).

Why should you join?

1. You will learn about a set of cost estimating services for helping manufacturing companies to enhance their current cost estimating practices.

2. You will have a virtual forum to discuss the challenges small and medium sized manufacturing companies face when collaborating with other organizations. You will be introduced to new ideas about how you can improve your current cost estimating practices.

3. You will be given access, for a limited period, to the set of web services presented during the virtual seminar. That should help you enhance your current cost engineering capabilities, knowledge and practices.

- 17:00–17:15 CET Summary and close of the virtual meeting

To join the Virtual Seminar you need:

1. A computer with access to Internet.

2. A headset with headphones and microphone.

3. A Web browser: Internet Explorer is recommended.

4. To use Skype, where you should have an account.
